Affordable homes are needed to support local families and the local economy. But new housing should not come at the expense of our precious areas of outstanding natural beauty or be driven through without the infrastructure needed to support new residents. We should enforce against unauthorised development, empower local parish councils to direct development to where they want it, and nurture our areas of outstanding natural beauty.
