I recently met up with local farmers, including Patrick from the brilliant Flower Farm, and the National Farmers' Union.
We talked about current issues ranging from the prices of fertiliser given the current situation in Ukraine, to the importance of food security, to muck spreading.
I grew up as a city girl but it's always a huge pleasure to meet the people who produce our food and protect our countryside - and always good to hear from experts in the field (no pun intended!) to hear about the challenges and concerns they have.
