We don’t know a lot about the Omicron variant yet, but we do know that it is much more transmissible than previous variants.
I am a huge believer in the vaccine, so I’m pleased the Prime Minister has announced tonight that everybody over the age of 18 will be able to get a booster jab before the end of December.
The booster reduces transmission as well as the risk of severe illness. Our single best chance of normality relies on as many people getting it as possible.
