It was great to speak to residents on the doorstep in Lingfield this morning where petty crime and electric vehicle charging points came up a lot.
I also popped into the wonderful Lingfield Community Library, an ancient building which has been in place since 1424, what a local treasure.
After a pit stop for lunch at the Horley Recreation Ground, I spent a brilliant afternoon with Geoffrey Lean at the Red Barn, Lingfield whose outside area is looking beautiful.
I feel so lucky that Geoffrey is a Tandridge resident. As the longest standing environmental journalist, he gave me great insight into COP progress and has kindly agreed to do a session with residents to give them his independent view of where we are and what the world needs to do next. More details soon.
