I took part in several events during Conservative Party Conference earlier this month on a range of topics including education and women’s policy.
However, one of the policy events I'm most proud of was called Trust the People, organised by Conservative Home, New Local, and the New Social Covenant led by Danny Kruger MP.
The group behind this work believes that public services would be better run if the public could have more of a say in them, so that public services aren't something that's done to local communities but by them.
I'm passionate about giving people more agency over their areas, so I wanted to share the ideas we had in the discussion. If you're interested in finding out more, you can watch the event in full above. And if you'd like to read the report, please click here.
