From today, if you've had both doses of the vaccine/are under 18, you no longer have to self-isolate if you're identified as a close contact of someone who has tested positive for Covid.
Instead, you will be advised by the NHS to take a PCR test as soon as possible to check if you have the virus. Just as a reminder, you can get a PCR test by ordering online, calling 119 or going to a test site.
As those who are double-jabbed are still at risk of being infected, they will also be advised to consider other precautions, such as wearing a face covering in enclosed spaces and limiting contact with other people - especially the clinically extremely vulnerable - until they have received a negative result.
