Our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund is helping families to keep their homes warm and their bills down. We want to support hard-working families to make changes that are right for them, rather than burdening them with unnecessary costs.
The extra funding we are announcing today will help thousands of households save around £400 a year on their energy bills - and I'm delighted that Tandridge Council has been awarded £849,000 to offer free upgrades to social tenants’ homes including insulation, double glazing and heat pumps.
