More than 15 million people across Britain have now been vaccinated, which means the Government has met its target to offer the first dose of the vaccine to all those in the top four priority groups two days ahead of schedule.
This is a fantastic achievement and I pay tribute to all those involved, from the medics and volunteers to public health officials and Ministers.
We will now offer the vaccine to those in the remaining priority groups, starting with group five, with the aim of reaching all over-50s and all adults with underlying health conditions by the end of April.
If you’re aged 65 and over, clinically extremely vulnerable, or a frontline health or social care worker, you can now book a vaccination appointment online by clicking here, or by calling 119 free of charge between 7am and 11pm Monday to Friday.
If you have any questions or concerns, there is a vaccination email and phone service you can contact: [email protected] / 0300 561 2500 – lines are open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
