Improving our roads is one of my local priorities. Thank you to all those who filled out my survey on HGVs. Our next step will be a virtual public meeting on Friday 29 January from 14.30 to 15:30.
I have spoken to a range of local leaders to scope out some solutions, from increasing enforcement to putting in place restrictions and cameras.
I will be joined on the call by local Parish Councils, Surrey County Council representative for Highways Matt Furniss, and local Councillors Lesley Steeds and Harry Fitzgerald to discuss the results of the survey and how we can try to move the situation forward.
