Visit to St Mary's Church of England Junior School in Oxted

One of the great joys of my role as an MP is visiting our brilliant local schools, and last week I visited St Mary's Church of England Junior School in Oxted.

I chatted with some of the fantastic pupils there about a range of issues, from building resilience, to the biology of the brain, to Maths mastery (which as a self-confessed Maths nut, I thoroughly enjoyed!).

There's such a brilliant atmosphere at St Mary's - so positive, so vibrant and fizzing with fun. And I was so impressed by the commitment and thoughtfulness of the teachers I met too.

Thanks again to Headteacher Mrs Lewis and team for such an enjoyable visit.
