Last week, I hosted the Surrey-wide Virtual COP26 Climate Summit, which I'm delighted to say over 350 local residents signed up to attend.
Ahead of the COP26 Summit of global leaders in Glasgow, I was joined by a number of distinguished guests for two hours of fascinating discussions about the importance of biodiversity, the move to sustainable travel, and our local fight against climate change in Surrey.
A huge thank you to Michael Gove MP, Surrey Wildlife Trust, Heathrow Airport, Surrey County Council, Love Reigate and Banstead, Jeremy Hunt MP, Chris Grayling MP, Jonathan Lord MP, Dr Ben Spencer MP, Cllr Tim Oliver, Cllr Matt Furniss, Cllr Mark Brunt, Coast2Capital LEP and Enterprise M3 LEP for attending.
