It was great to speak with the team at Invicta National Academy last week.
Set up in Kent by Anna Firth and Stephen James, the Academy provided free catch-up lessons in English and Maths every morning of the summer holidays last year for children in state schools - and this year they want to do the same for children across East Surrey.
They'd also like to offer workshops on public speaking, a daily Joe Wicks type fitness blast, and inspirational seminars on future careers.
This is an outstanding example of community leadership, and one that I'm hugely proud to support. As a private initiative, however, their work will only be possible if they are able to raise their target of £19,000 through private donations or grants.
So, if you can, please do consider making a contribution by clicking here. Any sum - large or small - will help.
