The Met Office has now issued a Red Warning for us here in the South East, which will be in place between 10am and 3pm today.
This means they are expecting significant disruption and dangerous conditions due to extremely strong winds.
As a result, residents are being urged to:
- Stay at home during the storm
- Avoid travelling if possible
- Tie down objects in your gardens
- Fasten doors and windows
- Park your car in your garage if you have one or if not make sure it’s parked away from buildings, trees, walls and fences
