I was delighted to join another public meeting to speak in support of Sustainable Outwood this week - an initiative set up to explore renewable energy options for the village.
I had the pleasure of meeting the committee's co-chair, Fiona Mellington, at one of my Green-Tember events last year and I've been so pleased to support their application since.
Being home to the oldest working windmill in Britain, the village has always been a pioneer for the renewable energy sector, and I'd like to pay tribute once again to the hard work of the committee of Sustainable Outwood and Outwood Parish Council. I'm looking forward to seeing their next steps!
