Congratulations to Oxted resident Camilla Bowry, who has been awarded an OBE in The King's New Year Honours for services to young people, education and the environment!
In 2013 Camilla founded the cracking Sal's Shoes, headquartered in Edenbridge, to find new homes for shoes that have been outgrown yet still have plenty of life left in them.
Since then, they have donated over 5,000,000 pairs of shoes to families in the UK and 61 countries around the world.
Well done Camilla - thoroughly deserved
