The next stage of our childcare rollout begins

The largest expansion of childcare in history. 1.2 million children already supported, with over 150,000 more set to benefit from this week. Saving working parents £6,900 a year on childcare costs. Helping 60,000 more parents back into work. Backed by £8 billion of investment.

During my time as Children’s Minister, so many parents in East Surrey told me how much this huge expansion will help with their family finances. I'm proud that the next stage of the rollout will start for working parents this week.
