I am absolutely THRILLED that Growing Health Together, which supports community-led health projects in East Surrey, have been granted funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research to carry out an evaluation and share their learning with councils across the country.
I recently met their Director, Dr Gillian Orrow, to talk about their brilliant work with the Horley Health Hub, and I’m so glad they’ve been able to get some funding to use their expertise more widely.
The Horley Health Hub has also been invited to join the Government's Tackling Loneliness Hub, which as many of you will know is something I am incredibly passionate about. Through this scheme, they'll be able to share information with other groups tackling loneliness, as well as sharing information and guidance on the ONS loneliness measures.
If you’d like to support these brilliant groups by making a donation to my Friendship Project, you can do so here: https://cfsurrey.enthuse.com/.../claire-s-loneliness-fund...
