I had a wonderful time meeting Tom and his family in the sublime setting they’ve created at Divers Cove Open Water Swimming, near Godstone.
Their summer season has just started, and their 7-acre reservoir offers an idyllic spot to brace the open waters before warming up in one of their custom-built sauna pods.
Wild swimming has seen an explosion in popularity in recent years, partly due to the many benefits it can offer – from better sleep and improved mood to the friendships that can be formed on the lakeside. I’m so glad we have facilities like this on our doorstep – do pay them a visit if you’ve ever thought about taking the plunge.
