I have been so proud of how our community has stood together to help the people of Ukraine over the last 18 months. Tonight, a charity football match called Game4Ukraine will be held at Stamford Bridge, with all money raised through ticket, kit and merchandise sales going directly to rebuilding schools and infrastructure in war-torn Ukraine.
Grassroots clubs across the country will also being holding their own Play4Ukraine matches, and last week I was thrilled to help kick off the very first one in the country - Oxted FC vs Reigatians AFC, held here in Bletchingley.
I got involved through Neil Riches, Managing Director of My Club, a custom sports kit company based in Oxted. My Club have done a fantastic job producing the kit for the games and I know Neil and his team have been working relentlessly to get everything ready in time.
